Titanium Grade 5 is frequently used to describe the chemical composition of an alloy. Fasteners made of titanium grade 5 are primarily alloyed with titanium over 90%, aluminum 6%, and vanadium 4%. High corrosion tolerance, outstanding strength, low elastic modulus, better durability, and heat treatability are all characteristics of titanium gr. 5 stud fasteners.

 

Since grade 5 Titanium can resist high temperatures, it can be used in a 400°C or 750°F temperature range. The aerospace sector is the one that uses Titanium Grade 5 Fasteners the most frequently. Titanium grade 5 is ideal for aerospace applications, including discs, compressor blades, rings, pressure vessels, aircraft parts, rocket engine casings, helicopter rotor hubs, and forgings requiring high strength-to-weight ratios.
