C92200 Leaded Tin Bronze, also known as Navy M Bronze, is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant alloy widely used in marine, industrial, and heavy-duty applications. CDA 922 offers excellent wear resistance, pressure tightness, and machinability, making it ideal for components exposed to friction, seawater, and industrial chemicals. This C922 alloy is composed of copper, lead, zinc, and tin, providing good corrosion and wear resistance while maintaining strength at high temperatures. The presence of lead enhances its machinability.
C92200 Bronze is available in solid bar stock (ASTM B505) and can be cast using centrifugal casting (ASTM B271) or sand casting (ASTM B584).
