The k500 alloy bars are engineered specifically to meet rigorous dimensional tolerances-cold-worked rods will have diameters within ±0.002–0.007 inches in comparison nonferrous metal hot-working allows machining allowances up to ¼ inch (6.4 mm) for seamless integration into critical applications.
